Framed African American Music Paintings
The African American music scene is very popular and has been for many, many years. Artists from all over have found ways to create framed African American music art that is very appealing to the eye of any art lover. People from all different backgrounds can now enjoy the music and the art that it inspires.
David Garibaldi is an artist that is well known for his caricature style of framed African American music art paintings. Pieces like “Lola Beats”, “Move Those Strings”, and “DJ Free” are very popular and can be seen in a variety of venues where music is the lifeline. Frank Morrison and Robert Brasher use a similar style in their pieces “Bourbon Street Blues” and “Red Hot on Cool.”
Romare Bearden has two pieces that are from the seventies and eighties that still maintain their popularity in the category of framed African American music art pictures to this day. Those two pieces are titled “Evening of the Grey Cat” from 1982 and “Blues” from 1974. These two pieces have been an attraction for people from all walks of life that love music.
One of the most famous African American musicians of all times is Bob Marley and David Garibaldi has a great piece titled “Bob Marley” that fans will love to hang in their home. African Americans are also known for their great talent in the singing of gospel music and Tom Ashkar depicts this very well in his piece “Gospel Choir of Angels”. Ernest E. Varner, II goes back to the old ways with an African woman playing a drum in the piece “Different Drummer” which is still very popular.
