Mollie B is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, which wouldn’t be difficult to assume the inspiration behind her paintings of “Beer 30”, “Beer Hunter”, and “Always Happy Hour Here”. Her work is very distinctive to her upbringing in Nashville, Tennessee and her current home in Texas—she uses vibrant, contrasting colour to distinguish the various objects and textures in each painting.

Whereas, Deb B she uses a lot of textured lines and various shades of one or two colours in each of her portraits—all ending with a similar message that having a beer is a good time. The attention to detail, texture and design is so fascinating especially for the use of only one or two colours. Deb B is another hometown girl, just like Mollie B—grew-up in a beer-loving state, Ohio. She’s known to draw inspiration from her memories and growing-up in Ohio with her family.
