Framed Fork Artwork
When thinking about art for the kitchen some artists came up with the concept of framed fork artwork. It is a great idea because it is something found in every kitchen and it is different from the same old fruit and food pictures normally seen in kitchens. Though it seems like a simple utensil, artists have found ways to make it interesting.
Louise Max used the old time idea of the blue plate special at the dinner to create his framed fork picture. It is simple and basic in design making it great for a lot of different décor ideas. Jennifer Bonantura uses various shapes and shades to create her somewhat abstract “Cherry Pie” painting that details the importance of a fork with desert.
Some art lovers prefer to stick with the more traditional and like the work of artists Darrin Hoover for their framed fork art paintings because he uses the fork along with food like spaghetti, rigatoni, fettuccini, and bowtie pastas. His paintings are eye catching and yet simplistic at the same time. Panoramic Images has a nice piece that is a still life of a yellow pepper, cherry tomato, and fork. This picture has wonderful bright colors and the close-up gives it lots of detail.
Lisa Audit takes a far different approach to her fork art with flowers and butterflies amongst the place setting that is always trimmed with lovely floral borders. Photographers Mike Feeley and Assaf Frank do great work with the camera and simple forks.
