Framed Statue Artwork
A statue is a sculptural artwork that represents different situations that include people, animals and abstract concepts. Statues can be made from different materials, from which the most often used are stone, metal and wood.
Statues have been made even in prehistory, and some of the statues are found to be about 30.000 years old. There are a lot of famous statues that many people know. One of them is the famous Statue of Liberty that is located in New York. Statues are often representing something of a great significance for a certain culture, and even though the foreign beholder may not understand the concept of the statue, the native person will understand its meaning a lot better than anyone else. Framed statue images are a great sight for any person that likes sculptural art.
One of the most famous statue in the world is the image of Buddha. Buddha is represented in many statues, and even the tallest statue in the world is the Spring Temple Buddha that is about 500 feet tall. Statues are made in honor of great people and great events. There is a large statue representation of a great American president from the past, Abraham Lincoln, depicted while sitting in a giant chair and it is located in Washington. Also, great people from mythology are also represented as statues, like hero Persesus or goddess Venus, showing their grace and power through structural illustration of body positions.
The themes of statues aren’t always realistic things, and in some cultures, mythological beings are represented through different statues. If you want to see the representation of many different things presented in a static position, getting a framed statue art is the best decoration choice for your living space.
