Framed Parrot Prints
Parrots are colorful and lively birds, which are also an inspiration for artists for their unique collection of framed parrot artwork.
Also known as psittacines, parrots are birds of about 372 species in 86 species; making up the order Psittaciformes that are found in more subtropical and tropical regions. This order is further divided into three super families, which is the Psittacoidea, the Cacatuoidea, and the Strigopoidea.
The huge range of framed parrot art pictures are bursting with color and vibrancy as that is what the parrot bird brings with it. The liveliness of the bird is usually spotted from miles away whether it’s the real thing or a simple portrait. Artists have chosen a different approach to portray their parrot images and some have chosen to show the parrot in the branches of trees whereas others have chosen to keep them close to their cage.
Alternatively, other settings such as near waterfalls, on ones shoulders, and on the grassy land have also been chosen by other artists. “Sulphur-Crested” by Janet Flinn is a gorgeous picture of two parrots, which seem to have emerged in such a soft and beautiful manner. The colors and the way they are used exquisitely show this and give the image a soft and warm edge of its own.
A contrast to Flinn’s work is the framed parrot art piece titled “Parrot, PL 86”, which is a painting by Jacques Barraband. The artist has chosen to focus on the greenery of the parrot as well as key attention to its features, such as the feather, face, and beak. With several species living at temperate region in the Southern Hemisphere, parrots are generally pantropical distributed with the largest diversity being in Australasia and South America.
