Framed Summer Landscape Paintings
Summer is the season we long for while we’re rugged up in woollen blankets, sipping at hot drinks. We eagerly await it each year as the weather begins to warm and the days begin to get longer in spring. Framed summer landscape art is a reminder of all our summers. Summer holidays, summer camping trips, summer exploration and summer adventures.
Framed summer landscape paintings are full of life and energy. All those bright colours inspire and elevate us. Painters such as Chris Vest create a bright contrast of lush green grasses and pink blossoms in ‘Summer Spring’ while Steven Harvey creates colourful floral displays in ‘Summer Byway’.
Blue is prominent colour, blue skies, blue water in rivers and beaches. Summers spent by, and in, the water are captured wonderfully in framed summer landscape beach river art such as ‘Summer Breeze’ by Sheila Elsea and Jacquelynn Kresman wonderfully showcases waves crashing on the beach in her photography piece ‘Summer Shade’.
But as the summer wears on and the heat gets to us we feel more those images inspired by late summer. Framed summer landscape artwork such as ‘Summer Pastoral’ by Teri Jonas, ‘Small Summer Horizons’ series by Ethan Harper and ‘Summer Vineyard’ by Silvia Rutledge showcase the end of summer in fields of dry yellow grasses and foliage.
