Framed Godzilla Art

Japanese mythology is littered with monsters, but few of them come even close in terms of popularity to a relatively new invention. Godzilla made its first appearance in the 1954 film produced by Ishiro Honda, a a black-and-white movie that led to an entire series in Japan. Granted technology of that time didn’t allow the producers to come up with a truly frightening monster, the film was a hit and Framed Godzilla Posters available at FramedArt.com serve as a silent reminder of its success.
In the wake of it success in Japan, the monster was adopted by Hollywood and dozens of films were produced over the next few decades. Framed Godzilla Posters include all 28 of them, but also feature the terrible creature in video games, comic books and other television series. Numerous references are made to it in literature and one of the most popular nicknames for Godzilla is the King of all monsters, a term used for the first time in the original film.

The plot of most Godzilla movies is similar and starts from the same concepts, with the monster being the result of nuclear bombings or experiments. From this point onward, stories develop in different ways and in some movies the monster is depicted as a destructive creature, while others assign it positive traits. The thing that all these movies have in common is that they portray Godzilla as a gigantic being of terrible strength and this is the message conveyed by virtually all Framed Godzilla Posters.
