Framed Florence Artwork
Ancient buildings once occupied by Roman citizens. Blue canals reflecting the ancient architecture. Potted plants overlooking terraces of trees. That is beautiful Florence, Italy. It is an old city that is occupied many people today, and visited by many tourists. It is the subject of framed Florence art.
“Florentine Lakeshore” by Paul Mathenia is a gorgeous piece of a framed Florence Painting that perfectly captures the ancient atmosphere of Florence. There is a lake in front of a house. Two flowerpots are overlooking the lake. In the distance are trees, whose colours just blend into the scenery. Farther in the distance are houses, which are few and far between. It is a look back in time.
A framed photograph of Florence is “High Angle of Florence, Italy” by Panoramic Images. In this image you can see a large part of the city, which includes some of the famous buildings. It was taken at twilight. Its colours are enhanced so there is a rainbow: Starting on the left are the yellows from the sunset. There are deep shadows on the buildings, and blues in the mountains, and golds in the buildings. It has a magical feeling.
An old framed painting of Florence is “ Florence from near San Miniato, 1828” by J.M.W. Turner. Here Florence appears to be a desert, having mostly whites, and very dry-looking yellows. The sky above is pure white. In the centre are people resting, looking contented and relaxed, around a tall spear of greenery. The picture is peaceful, if not alien, for portraying a different Western European culture.
