Framed Glacier Artwork
The eyes in the sky have done an incredible job of taking some great framed glacier snapshots. Satellite views bring out the definition of these massive blocks of ice. Glaciers have so many intricate lines and zigzags. The forms from the lines look like a maze from these overhead views. The Earth’s glaciers can mostly be found in the Polar Regions.
Talks of global warming and the melting away of glaciers are all around us. Until the glaciers are nonexistent, there will always be framed glacier photos taken. Other artist will take on the task filling their canvases with beautiful life like images. Hopefully, the melting glacier will be an after-thought and we won’t have to depend too much on our imagination.
Glaciers are constantly moving under their own weight. Glaciers tend to form when snow melts slower than its accumulation. This process happens over many years and in some cases centuries. The massive glaciers seen in framed glacier photographs are often centuries old and have been around since prehistoric times. Different countries have taken advantage of these forms and carved out roads so that people can continue you to traverse through the mountainside.
Unlike icebergs that for in the water. Glaciers form on land. Since glaciers are in constant motion, they tend to deform and create the crevasses that are seen in the images found in framed glacier pictures taken overhead by satellites. These glacial forms are also one of the many sources on earth that contain freshwater for our ecosystem.
