Framed North American Maps
North America includes both the United States and Canada. It is a large area that encompasses desert, tundra, prairie, temperate, and wetlands biomes. Additionally there were once many First Nations people, before they were pushed out by the Europeans. These days both nations are full of diversity from around the world. It was once called the New World, and is in framed maps of North America.
The framed map of North America “The New World” by John Butler is an old map that has the incomplete version of Canada. The projection is distorted, and represents America as the New Frontier, full of lands and peoples unknown. It is drawn in a calligraphy-pen style that's not in use today. Its background appears to have been done post-production by the restorers, but is nice to look at.
Another framed North America map is “N.America Map” by Vision Studios. It is pleasingly restored, with clear lines. It is complete, having all of Canada, and has elevation of the mountains that extend all the way from the United States into Canada. Unlike Medieval maps, this one shows oceans not filled with sea monsters. There is a clear progression of thought.
“Map of North America” is a political map in a few colours highlighting America and Canada. There are the names of all 50 States, as well as the provinces of Canada. Below America is a map containing the regions of Mexico and part of South America. Canada, United States, and Mexico are truly all one big, happy family.
