White Framed Wall Art
White is a wonderful color that when used in artwork can make the simplest things seem the most beautiful. framed white artwork can draw someone’s attention quickly and make things jump from the canvas. There is not another color in the world that can’t be matched with white so the combinations are endless.
Some of Pablo Picasso’s best known pieces are simple framed white sketches with either just black or a little bit of color. Some of the amazing pieces include; “Don Quixote”, “Bouquet with Hands”, and “Summer Bouquet”. The white background makes the simple picture stand out and capture the focus of the eye. Keith Herring is an artist that creates works similar to Picasso but with a little flair for the whimsical.
White is also a color that makes us think of things being crisp, clean, and fresh. Karen Hollingsworth captured all those feelings in her framed white painting “The Dream of Water”. When looking at this painting you can almost feel the cool ocean air blowing in through the open windows while you sit in the chair next to them.

Phyllis Burchett and Lisa Cueman both use white horses in their work but, they portray the completely different. Burchett uses a big white stallion that comes across and powerful and Cueman uses a small white horse in a stable that looks sad and alone; almost defensless.
