Rita Vindedzis is an award-winning artist who was born and raised in Canada. She’s been an artist for several years and has produced several pieces of art. Rita came to realize her love for art very early in life. Those around her also noticed her talent and encouraged her to consider taking art as a career. She never disappointed. Rita was inspired by the ingenuity that seemed to pervade virtually every aspect of family life. To improve her art she decided to undertake formal art studies. However, the quality of her art usually comes naturally. Her medium of choice is acrylics on canvas. This is where her landscapes come alive and it is the medium that she fell in love with and still holds onto dearly. Her subjects are depicted well through acrylics, and what she sees in the natural world around us, she believes, gives her the reason to continue with her work with acrylics on canvas. She dedicates herself to painting in her studio full time. Rita has exhibited in Paula White Diamond Gallery, Art Interiors, Toronto, The Red Head Gallery, Toronto, Arta Gallery, Rochester, Artstream Gallery, The Artist Project, Leonardo Gallery, and Marten Arts Gallery, Bayfield, among others. Open fields and big skies, a large expanse of beach, grazing sheep and meandering streams are some of her favorite themes. Framed Rita Vindedzis art has found its way into many homes in Canada and beyond. The landscapes that she paints are from the photographs she takes during drives and walks through the countryside during family trips.
