Framed Van Gogh Architectural Prints

Framed Van Gogh Architectural Art expresses a style Van Gogh often used in his paintings. Van Gogh used his art to show emotions through imagery. Van Gogh is known for his vivid colors, which he used in all his paintings. He used these colors to bring emotion to architecture.

One of his paintings, “Yellow House, Arles, c. 1888,” is based on the place where Van Gogh stayed at the school of art where he had studied. Although his stay at the Yellow House ended in him being placed in an asylum, this painting is one that has inspired many artists. Paul Signac even did two separate watercolors of the Yellow House.
Another Framed Van Gogh architectural artwork painting, “The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night, c.1888,” shows Van Gogh’s use of color in a nighttime painting. He followed the idea of painting starry nights in later paintings, such as “Starry Night over the Rhone.” In one letter to his sister, Van Gogh described how he felt when he saw such a black landscape that was filled with color. Because of this deep contrast, Van Gogh was inspired to paint the cafe.

Van Gogh is loved by many for his bright, colorful paintings, and his architectural art is an excellent example of this. He took simple buildings, houses, cafes and more and use color to make them express emotions. Artists have and will continue to be inspired by his art and the intense passion it conveys.
