Silvia Rutledge is an artist who resides in California though she was raised up in Canada. She grew up in a small Canadian beach town on Lake Huron. With bold color and deft drawing, Silvia imparts feeling and life to her subjects. She must have inherited her artistic talent from her mother who was also an artist and they used to paint and draw together in her childhood. She fell in love with painting at such an early age and decided to dedicate her talents to painting full time. Silvia has worked as a professional for several years. During this time, she has exhibited her work nationally through several high-status fine art galleries and has achieved both corporate and private collector acknowledgment. Silvia is an artist who, by presenting her subjects in new ways, expands the traditional boundaries of art.
