Dawne Polis strives to make her photographs look otherworldly, painterly, and above all, romantic. She thanks God for the gift of creativity, which she says He instills within all human beings. In 2010 March her Digital Art was featured in an 8-page article in Somerset Digital Studio. Her photographs often feature two of her passions—France and the rustic countryside of New York. After almost 20 years of teaching art in high school, she retired to Everafter Farm in Shushan, New York where she now lives what she refers to as her "dream life" involving making art every day. Dawne produces an array of delightful high quality photographs that are not only unique and attractive but also inspiring. She’s been a tremendous source of inspiration to many upcoming photographers in New York, and the whole world. Dawne always looks at different methods of capturing and presenting images so that the final products invite viewers to step into them and share a moment of pleasure. When Dawne isn’t photographing with daughter Crickett or husband Dean, she makes Mixed Media art in her studio, where she stays up way too late on Photoshop, or running art workshops both in the United States and abroad.
