Rebecca Lyon is a designer and illustrator who was born in Arizona. She's been passionate about art since her tender years and has remained so throughout her education. Rebecca has lived her life in Texas, Los Angeles, and has been living in San Francisco for the past decade. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in graphics and packaging from the Art Center College of Design located in Pasadena, California. Once she completed her studies, she went straight into work in Los Angeles, where she was involved in theatrical advertising before she proceeded to Francisco, where she worked as a package designer. Through the years, she has worked in different positions in the art field, including playing roles of a studio manager, graphic designer, senior art director, illustrator and graphics instructor.
Although she focused more on design, she realized that she was infusing illustrative art into her design works, seeing her illustration designs grow. Over time, her illustrations appealed to a wider audience, inspiring her to start creating illustration art exclusively besides her paintings on canvas. She currently creates work for making ceramics as well. Rebecca travels a lot across the globe and has been getting a lot of inspirations from her travels. Her works are displayed in collections and galleries and are sold widely by diverse art outlets.
