Gene Dieckhoner was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. His work is included in many corporate and private collections all over the world and has been seen in numerous magazines and books. He works from his home studio which he shares with his wife Diana. He studied art throughout his school years and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University. Dieckhoner worked on a variety of projects for Fox Animation Studios including; Art Director and conceptual design. He also recently did background painting and story boards for "The Sedona Movie." Dieckhoner spent 3 years as an officer in the Air Force and another 5 years in Los Angeles as a commercial artist, after that, he decided to focus his attention on the field of fine art. As an artist Dieckhoner has achieved a lot and he has managed to get numerous commissions. Some of his achievements include more than one hundred drawings for Carte Blanche Magazine and the Los Angeles Times; sixty drawings for the Joshua Tree National Monument; 2 series of plates for the Bradford Exchange; a series of collectors plate on vanishing animals; series of puzzles for Bits and Pieces, among others. The framed Gene Dieckhoner art are now found in all corners of the world, and the artist has a wide network of clients. Through his style, he has achieved a wide range of moods and emotions by utilizing the delicate differences of pencil, watercolor and oil. He’s open to learning that’s why he associates himself much with his fellow artists.
