Mark Daehlin is an artist based in Minnesota. He has been an artist for as long as he can remember. His desire to become an artist began at an early age and he used to draw and paint using any material and on any surface he could come across. Today, he’s known for genre, figure and wildlife painting, teaching and writing. His interests are far-ranging and this desire to explore and grow, coupled with talent and native curiosity have helped him to produce a large body of works. Daehlin deliberately strives to create a visual impact of texture, color and shape combined with panache or pleasant appearance with a sense of stillness or liveliness from something which is often quite an extremely and ordinarily popular subject. Because of the brilliant manner in which he visualizes his subjects, Daehlin has been recognized as one of the leading artists in Minnesota and beyond.
