Artist Lorraine Christie (born 1967) has lived in the US for over fifteen years. The Northern Ireland-born artist was classically trained in London, but the approach and style of her craft is constantly evolving and has given way to exploration of the world around her having moved away from her classical background. In fact, several of her exquisite paintings are owned by His Royal Highness Prince Charles. Lorraine has had many successful shows in Ireland, including The Museum of Ulster and Belfast Castle. The former has two of her paintings in part of its permanent collection. Lorraine has exhibited frequently in Mayfair district with W.H. Patterson Gallery and has been part of the “Discerning Eye” exhibition in which HRH the Prince of Wales is a judge. Her work is successfully represented in Atlanta by Huff-Harrington, with rave reviews in Décor Magazine and American Art Collector Magazine. Her inspiration is her extensive travel in Europe where the classical architecture and the landscapes are just stunning.
