Daniel Burt holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of New Mexico, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Art Sculpture from Academy of Art University. His academic background has combined with his passion to enable him produce stunning and inspiring pieces of art. His work is represented in galleries nationwide and internationally and has been exhibited in group and solo shows. They can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide, mainly the framed Daniel Burt art. His public commissions are on display at the Bethany Center, in the heart of San Francisco's Mission district. For the last 10 years, he has been building sculpture classes and teaching at Academy of Art University. His interests are wide-ranging and this desire to explore and grow, coupled with his talent, travels and native curiosity have helped him to produce a large body of works. His art is much inspired by the people he has interacted with and the positive feedbacks he receives from his satisfied clients. His permanent work is also on display at the Raymond Vineyards in Sonoma. Currently, his works are sold in large numbers, both in brick and mortar stores and online. His art can be described as contemplative and dynamic. He has exhibited at Lab 101,111 Minna, Cal Arts, Taos in New Mexico, Mimi Barr Group Show, and others. Burt is currently a full-time instructor for the sculpture department of the university. Burt is open to learning and is always on the lookout for new styles and techniques.
