In 1726, Nathanial Buck and his brother Samuel Buck began their task of creating images of ancient monuments in Wales and England and put them in record. This selection concentrates on the counties of Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, among others. They participated in numerous national and international exhibits where their art attracted numerous positive reviews from professional art critics. They produced very detailed and very beautiful paintings of local buildings across the two countries - Wales and England with primitive innocence for which they were known for. Their collection became known as “Bucks Views” and they became a bank of more than 400 engravings of local buildings in the two countries. Despite their shortcomings as works of art, Buck and his brother produced the most detailed engravings of local scenes in the mid-eighteenth century. Buck’s art is availed in different sizes and finishing options. The framed Nathanial Buck art come in different colors and materials of the frames to satisfy the varying needs of her clients. The pieces of artwork collected into volumes for book purchasers and were also printed and sold individually. The prints may not have had high artistic quality, but they are important sources for local historians. Bucks Collection art can be found in many galleries and institutions around the world. He cultivated a good working relationship with his clients because he’s good at beating deadlines.
