Framed Willow Artwork
Willow trees are lovely as their long branches sway in the wind and they make great subjects for framed willow tree paintings. If they get combined with bodies of water or forms of architecture they become an even more vital part of the artwork.
One artist that takes willows to great detail is T.C. Chiu in his painting “Path to Willow Park”. This painting has lots of color and depth.
Impressionism painter Claude Monet used willows in several of his paintings. Some of those great framed willow tree works would be, “Weeping Willow” painted in 1918 and “Water Lilies and Willow Branches” painted in 1917. These pieces are still used quite often be interior decorators.
Another famous artist that tried his hand at framed willow tree art and that would be Vincent Van Gogh. His piece “Pollarded Willows and Setting Sun” that he painted in 1888 is a beautiful piece that brings willows into the world of abstract. June Erica Vess takes a much different approach to her rendition of willow art that can be seen in her works “Willow Fresco I and II”.
Art lovers that are fans of neutral colors and willow trees normally lean towards the works of Jennifer Goldberger. Her pieces titled “Willows and Lace” are made beautiful with the use of light neutral colors and different shapes used as a backdrop. The willow branches are just an added uniqueness to her work. “Willow Creek Mill” is a great piece that adds architecture to art.
