Wildflowers are just what they say they are; wild, yet artist are able to capture and tame them so that they can be enjoyed by all. Artists that create framed wildflower art are a wonderful group that brings colors and magic to the world of art. The possibilities of natural beauty they are able to find for subject matter is endless in this category.
Claude Monet was able to capture the beauty of wild water lilies in his painting “Water Lilies” which is still a very popular piece today. Pierre-Auguste Renoir made wildflowers a part of love when he painted “Picking Wildflowers” picturing a young gentleman picking flowers for his girl. Lowell Herrero had a great life that went through some tough days like the Great Depression and World War II.
