Framed Succulent Wall Art
Framed succulent art is a unique option for bringing plant life indoors. Succulent plants are known to thrive in hot and dry climates—like deserts—and can be found in an unusual array of colors, such as blue, red, orange, and even purple. Some of the most common types of succulents include various types of cacti and aloe plants; all succulents store an abundant amount of water in their leaves, giving them a swollen-like appearance.
Many framed succulent art pieces take the form of visually stunning photographs. Artist Lillian Bell, for instance, is able to capture the distinctive texture and shape of different succulent plants in “Succulent I” and “Succulent II.” “Succulent I” highlights the characteristically waxy feeling of succulent plant leaves, while “Succulent II” shows a succulent with black spikes around its leaves’ edges. Another popular photographer is Jan Bell, whose prints “Fiery Succulent” and “Succulent” are equally as striking. “Fiery Succulent” showcases a bright green succulent with a red border around its leaves; “Succulent” depicts the papyrus-like leaves of a beautiful blue succulent plant.
Artist Danita Delimont pairs with other artists to create memorable framed succulent artwork. In “Opuntia moniliformis, Succulent dry forest, Puerto Rico,” Delimont teams up with Maresa Pryor to snap a photo of a large, cactus-looking tree in an exotic Puerto Rican forest at sunset. “Echeveria Elegans Succulents, New Zealand,” taken with David Wall, shows a dozen or more tiny green succulent plants clustered together; their leaves look like small roses. Finally, in “Namibia, Fish River Canyon NP, Cactus succulent,” Delimont and Paul Souders work together to photograph a bush of skinny yellow-green cacti growing out of a breathtaking canyon.
Framed succulent art prints let you escape to far-off locations without ever leaving home. Travel to distant lands where sweet succulent plants grow wild, and let your mind roam free with the rolling tumbleweed.
