Framed Colorful Digital Prints
Upon the walls of our homes we often enjoy the splashes of colour that come with framed colourful digital artwork. Homes are immediately brightened and given an extra ambiance through the use of bright colours and digital imagery that act as small windows into a real or imagined space. The presence of this rich digital tapestry gives homes an added iconography that resonates throughout its rooms and corridors.
Much of the art contains natural photographic images with the added aspect of unnatural colour. This gives the original image an added aura, forcing the viewer to contemplate it differently. Erin Clark’s framed colourful digital art on canvas often incorporates this theme, such as her piece Manhattan Bridge Aura, in which the black image of the bridge is silhouetted by a red imagined sky, giving extra lustre to the scene.
Not all of the colour sits so snuggly within the image. In BMW Racing Watercolor, Naxart spread bright, neon watercolours whimsically over the black and white photograph of the iconic hood of the BMW E30 M3. The energy of the neon coupled with the imagery that is invoked by the famous racing car, gives framed colourful digital art, such as this, real force.
The use of geometrical shapes mixed with colour has often been employed within the realm of framed colourful digital art pieces. Set within pastel colours, these geometric patterns drag the viewer’s eyes toward the centre of the image and into a seemingly endless void.
