Framed T Rex Artwork
Arguably the best known of all dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex had a menacing look and at the time it roamed the Earth, it had no natural enemy.
The name comes from ancient Greeks and literally translates “tyrant lizard”, with the massive creature sitting proudly at the top of the food chain during the Cretaceous period. Depicted in numerous movies, it is also at the cornerstone of Framed T Rex Art and FramedArt.com has assembled an entire collection dedicated to this
Framed T Rex Art depicts both the dinosaur as imagined by people based on the discovered fossils, but also the actual bones. The bipedal carnivore had a huge skull and equally impressive teeth, with short but powerful forelimbs armed with massive claws. The long tail helped the dinosaur balance its skull and despite its huge proportions, the carnivore was pretty agile, capable of hunting fast prey. The fossils suggest that the Tyrannosaurus Rex measured up to 40 feet in length and 13 feet in height, which made it one of the largest carnivores of all time.
Framed T Rex Art also focus on the creatures that served as a source of inspiration for movie directors, including massive hits such as Jurassic Park. The image painted by the movies is that the Tyrannosaurus Rex was a vicious predator, although some experts indicate the fact that the dinosaur was rather a scavenger. While the debate is still raging, the frightening look of this carnivore is what kept it in the spotlight for such a long time as the ultimate dinosaur.
