Framed Rhino Artwork
One of the largest mammals in the world, the rhinoceros is currently on the endangered list, due to intense hunting. Unfortunately, they are killed by humans who harvest the horns, which end up being sold at unreasonably high prices on the black market.
Allegedly, they serve medicinal purposes and they sell particularly well in East Asia, despite the best efforts of nations to contain this threat. For the time being, we can still admire them both in the wild and in the fine Framed Rhino Art sold by FramedArt.com.
Framed Rhino Art depict all five of the surviving species, with two of them living in Africa and the other three inhabiting the parts of Southern Asia. Rhinoceros don’t have any natural enemies, due to the fact that their bodies are protected by a thick skin and they are creatures of immense power. The horn that humans are killing them for acts as a deterrent for lions and other large felines, but also keeps hyenas at bay. Only during times of extreme scarcity, predators risk their lives to hunt rhinos.
Framed Rhino Art also captures the more belligerent nature of this animal, which can easily take an aggressive stance when it fears for the life of the calves. They are also territorial animals and due to their sheer size, they are not used to being threatened by any animal, which explains why they don’t fear humans either. The shrinking environment also clarifies why three of the five species are threatened with imminent extinction, although hunting remains the main threat.
