Framed Warplane Paintings
Initially designed to carry people around and ensure transportation systems, aircrafts ended up serving military purposes as well. FramedArt.com dedicates ample coverage to these planes through its framed warplane prints and the collection includes both modern planes and the early flying machines.
They are supposed to destroy other airplanes, military equipment and bomb strategic places, which makes them deadly and are only manufactured and developed by military forces.
The vast majority of framed warplane prints actually feature fighter aircrafts, which are supposed to destroy opposing airplanes in aerial combat. They are maneuverable, fast and armed to the teeth, which makes them a great choice for escorting bombers, as well as fighting their counterparts. Bomber aircrafts are slower and heavier, therefore more difficult to maneuver and they require the assistance of fighter airplanes to survive over hostile territory. They can carry large bombs and some of the latest machines also have stealth capabilities, which makes them impossible to detect by radar.
Attack aircrafts are also a frequent sight in framed warplane prints and they usually serve the role of providing friendly troops with ground support. They are effective at fighting tanks and armored vehicles, while also being capable of launching rockets and dropping bombs. Electronic warfare aircraft are highly specialized and they counter enemy radio systems and radars, but don’t have offensive capabilities. Another type of specialized airplane is the maritime patrol aircraft which can fly over long distances and destroy enemy ships while performing search and rescue missions.
