Framed Acoustic Guitar Artwork
Those who think that acoustic guitars are obsolete and they’ve got nothing on the electric versions, should definitely check out the Framed Acoustic Guitar Art collection at FramedArt.com. While they lack the sheer power of electric guitars, they have an unmistakable charm and their smooth shape projects an image of elegance. The name says it all, because these guitars use the resonating chamber to transmit the energy produced by the vibrating strings and convert it into sound.
Not surprisingly, acoustic guitars were the first ones to be produced and the earliest versions didn’t look too different from the ones currently in use. Framed Acoustic Guitar Art traced them and collectors will have no problem in finding musical instruments that were used in the early 12th century. Wood was the material of choice back then just as it is today, but the strings were made from different materials, as nylon and steel were not available.
Framed Acoustic Guitar Art can only capture the elegance and charm of the instrument, but what makes it truly special is the unique sound it produces. Some famous painters have dedicated their time and energy to capture its beauty on canvas and Picasso has painted a couple of masterpieces. The Old Guitarist is perhaps his best-known painting dedicated to acoustic guitars, therefore a must have for any collector. Pierre Auguste Renoir’s Guitar Player and Edouard Manet’s Spanish Singer also have the beautiful instrument at their cornerstone and they are more optimistic than Picasso’s version.
