Jerianne Van Dijk is an illustrator and painter who creates her creative pieces using a variety of mediums, including gouache, watercolor, ink and crayon. She uses different techniques and materials, with most of her paintings being impressionistic and realistic. Jerianne makes art that displays great use of light and mood. Her artistic works incorporate whimsy, detail, and classic technique, making all her artistic works unique in their own ways. A number of her works are inspired by nature and her Northern California foothills neighborhoods where she's lived for the past 30 years. Jerianne’s passion for art, her openness to new ideas, and her ability to collaborate with other artists have seen her grow artistically over the years. Besides the collaborations, she also attends workshops conducted by reputable illustrators and master artists. Jerianne creates her own artwork pieces, but is also commissioned by different artists to create designs for products such as CD covers, calendars, posters, books, among others. Many of the products she's worked on are available in the market across the U.S. and internationally. As a freelancer, she has worked with numerous designers, creating appealing designs for wallpapers, fabrics, figurines, and textiles. Jerianne loves working with different clients as such works provide her with an opportunity to learn the diverse requirements of her clients. This allows her to learn a great deal of ideas and angles of handling their unique needs. She hosts a yearly Open Studio and has a radio program on KVMR-FM.
