Bill Philip (Born in 1946) was born in Scotland where he was also brought. He also spent some time at the Lake District. As far back as he can remember he loved anything with artistic flare. It was exposure to the great Masters and the rugged stormy landscape of Scotland that shaped his life and work. From his childhood he was influenced by the power of the mountains, landscape, seas and lochs that surrounded his childhood homes and these influences are clearly seen in much of his work today. He had a dream of becoming an artist while he was still a small boy. To fulfill this childhood dream, he originally trained as a professional photographer at the University of Westminster where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art Photography. After graduation, he plunged himself into the arts industry and worked extremely hard. His efforts were noted and he was appointed the Director of Arts at City of Westminster College. He worked in this capacity for several years, but decided to resign so as to get enough time to develop his passion for fine art and landscape photography. He has exhibited widely and his work has been published both in Scotland and abroad. Framed Bill Philip art can be used to decorate any space, that’s why they are popular with people of all ages. Due to his extensive experience working in photography, he has managed to attract a huge following and his art can be seen around the world in many galleries and both in private and corporate collections. They are also purchased by architects and interior designers.
