Iris Lehnhardt (Born 1966) was born in Sobernheim, Germany and she spent her childhood and youth in the rural region of the Hunsrück. The natural beauty of this area has left her a permanent impression on her, and while viewing her art, we can see how she’s tracking the magical moments of nature in her works. She’s an award-winning freelance artist dealing in Painting, Photography, and Illustration. She created her first material collage in 1988. The collage in the medium of painting is constant in her further artistic development. Iris eventually found an adequate means of expression in the combination of wax and her intuitive gestural expression. For her, the artistic process of creation is of great importance and she wants the viewer to enjoy her art as much as she does the process of producing it. Her work is exhibited and sold all over the world and are availed both in physical and online stores. Many buyers like the ready to hang framed Iris Lehnhardt art because they come with all the required accessories for hanging. Her works correspond to an experimental process with elements that look like collagen from integrated white papers combined with acrylic painting, wax, as well as graphite, charcoal, ink and chalk drawing. Her art is homage to a variety of forms, shapes and colors in nature and she has added to her studies through different schools of art in Germany. Her images are her interpretation of her subjects and she hopes they will excite and even inspire her viewers.
