Philip Lorne Craig (Born in July 29, 1951) is an artist who was born in Ottawa, Canada. He always had something for art and started receiving art studies at the high school level. After completing his high school education, he went to Seridan College in Oakville Ontario where he studied graphic design. In 1971, he moved back to Ottawa where he landed a job with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (C.B.C.), working as a graphic and set designer. As he continued working for the company, his skills improved and he rose to become the Art Director for the same company in St. John's Newfoundland in 1975. A decade later, the demand for his work grew so much that he made up his mind to settle back in Ottawa to focus on his artistic talent full time.
Craig has refined his work and is now painting using oil as his primary medium. His art covers a number of subjects, although he mainly focuses on works of nature, including landscapes, trees and flowers, and more. He has mastered oil paint to the extent that he creates his art in a manner that clearly depicts his subjects and the effects of both light and shadows in his subjects. Craig’s work can be found in platforms such as galleries and art collection exhibitions in Canada, the U.K., the U.S., as well as different other parts of Europe. Framed Philip Lorne Craig art continue to sell through different platforms and are famous among those who would like to buy art that’s all set to mount.
