Caroline Benchetrit is a sculptor and painter. She uses mixed media, colors and texture which seduces the senses. Her life is about getting close to her inspirations as she can and also about realizing her dreams. Her work involves the observer not just in the final product but also in the creation process. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Microeconomics), and an MBA (Administrative Sciences) both from Concordia University, Montreal, Qc. She also holds a Ph.D. (Administrative Sciences) from McGill University, Montreal, Qc. Caroline studied Sculpture at School Of Visual Arts, Westmount, Qc. Her corporate collections include Cosmedica, Chait Amyot, Royal LePage, Stikeman Elliott, Garfield Transport, Gaetan Morin, Éditeurs, ISOGroup Consultants, Harry Nozetz and Associates, Winterstern and Associates, and Vezina Goodman. Her life size sculptures (in both bronze and ceramic) and paintings have been widely published in accredited art journals and have been exhibited through more than 20 galleries in North America. Caroline uses a narrative style in her expression. Her textual and visual allusions suggest the passionate message behind a scene that is seemingly simple. What matters to her most about the work that she does is that it is able to transmit the inspiration intended at the time she creates it. Caroline’s work has evolved from life size bronze and ceramic sculpture to painting in acrylics and ceramic to finally acrylics and wax on canvas. She now even creates animation series for TV based on her work. That explains why her work is very popular, and framed Caroline Benchetrit art are now found in many art institutions and homes/offices throughout the world.
