Framed Dinosaur Wall Art
Dinosaurs used to roam the Earth and were the dominant vertebrates until the mass extinction that occurred at the end of the Cretaceous. The numerous fossils that were subsequently discovered give us an accurate picture of how these giants looked like.
FramedArt.com paints a more accurate image through framed dinosaur prints featuring some of the best known creatures. Television made some of them popular, but contrary to popular belief not all dinosaurs were huge herbivores or fierce meat-eaters.
The best preserved fossils are the ones of large dinosaurs, as big bones tend to be easily preserved, yet smaller creatures were just as numerous. The framed dinosaur prints are focusing on the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Brontosaurus and Triceratops, which were some of the largest. They didn’t all live in the same period despite what Hollywood would want us to believe, but displaying several prints next to each other would still result in a coherent collection.
Birds actually evolved from dinosaurs and the pterodactyl is the one that emphasized this reality as it was one of the few flying dinosaurs. They used to populate all continents and were initially biped, but over the course of time some of the largest became quadruped and a handful could even shift between one stance or the other. There are framed dinosaur prints dedicated to all of them, with some trying to capture the very essence of the species while others offer a more cheerful version, depicting them in a manner that would appeal to children.
