Framed Dark Artwork
Contrary to what the name might indicate, there is nothing maleficent or horrible about the Framed Dark Art up for sale at FramedArt.com. Even though some of the images have a gloomy and sometimes intimidating name, the authors brilliantly succeeded at keeping them optimistic and even amusing. The characters range from ones that can be found in cartoons and animated movies, to once imagined by talented pitchers such as Salvador Dali in his 1936 masterpiece City of Drawers.
Salvador Dali was not one of the first promoters of dark art, but he had truly original concepts and elevated his form of art to new levels. Cinquenta Tigre Real is also included in this category and art collectors can add it to their personal assembly, with the images making great use of the colors black and orange. In fact, many of the Framed Dark Art posters are not dwelling exclusively on black-and-white, but instead use bright colors when portraying the central characters.
Framed Dark Art is also dedicated to the fictional characters of cartoons and animated movies, with Angelina Wrona being one of the prolific artists in this niche. Her protagonists share a couple of distinctive features, with big contemplative eyes and dark outfits, but there is nothing menacing about them. Skulls and zombies also appear in these posters and every now and then monsters and aliens are portrayed in images that fascinate the audience rather than strike fear in its heart.
