Hunting Framed Art
Well before people learned how to cultivate the land, they relied on hunting and foraging to acquire the food they need to survive. These activities went hand-in-hand for thousands of years and they were not completely forsaken even after agriculture became the main source of sustenance. FramedArt.com has Framed Hunting Art depicting both the hunters of the past and modern people who nowadays simply hunt for trade or recreation.
Framed Hunting Art is not centered on the act of killing the animal, but rather the preparations, the camping in the bushes and the chasing of prey. Many images are actually inspired by modern safaris which not necessarily result in the killing of the animal but rather a close observation. The fascination for big game didn’t go away even when animals no longer representing the main source of food and kings and noblemen went hunting purely for entertaining.
Framed Hunting Art also features hunting dogs, which were used extensively for hunting purposes, soon after they were domesticated. The symbiotic relationship between dog and man helped the latter greatly increase his success at hunting, with dogs finding, chasing retrieving and sometimes killing the prey. Without their assistance it would’ve been virtually impossible to hunt most animals, so it comes as no surprise that dogs were used for centuries despite the rapid advancement of hunting weapons. Today, there are many laws prohibiting the hunting of wild mammals with dogs in European countries.
