When we think of
framed space art we think of stars and planets, of moons and asteroids, of black holes and nebula, of galaxies and the universe. But when we think of space travel, of human space travel, we think of NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Probably the most notable piece of human triumph is the
framed NASA photography entitled ‘Earthrise’ which is that iconic photo of earth rising in the moon sky as taken by the astronaut William Anders on the Apollo 8 mission in 1968. It was the first manned voyage by NASA, which orbited the moon.
For the truest NASA fans who can tell you about each mission and crew, there are the framed NASA commemorative posters. These showcase the crew, often in their impressive orange spacesuits, for the expeditions and missions that NASA has conducted.
While the crew are important, there are some NASA explorers, while not human, who are equally as important. The development of the Mars Rovers has resulted in many generations of Mars Rover models, which can be seen through NASA mars rover artwork. This of course includes the Mars Rover Curiosity and concepts of it exploring the red planet.
