Framed Oklahoma Artwork
Well before the first white settlements were founded at the turn of the 19th century, the state of Oklahoma was inhabited by Native Americans. The very name of the state derives from the names of its original inhabitants, with their culture and tradition still living on after the Indian Appropriations Act changed the shape of the lands. FramedArt.com captures the most distinctive features of their traditions in Framed Oklahoma Art, while also celebrating the achievements of its modern inhabitants.
Oklahoma has one of the fastest growing economies and as a result the main cities are thriving, while acting as a magnet for people seeking a better life. Framed Oklahoma Art presents the audience with a chance of catching a glance at the city skyline, with Tulsa and Oklahoma City being shining examples. The cities are at the confluence of major cultural regions and its residents have both European and Native American ancestry, with dozens of languages being spoken statewide.
Framed Oklahoma Art are also about bringing in the spotlight the beauties of the countryside, with the state being famous for its mesas, prairies, eastern forests and mountain ranges. The diversity of the landscape is truly impressive and tourists enjoy the peace and tranquility of remote regions, away from major city centers. The downside is that the state is located in an area that is susceptible to severe weather and quite often its towns and cities are devastated by hurricanes and tornadoes.
