Framed Classical Nude Portraits
There are many historical works of art that include nudity in them and show that the illustration of a man or a woman can’t be completed without presenting them in their full natural form and glory. The human body was always considered a perfection, so many famous artists found inspiration in presenting it in the best possible view. Famous artists like Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo Da Vinci, Diego Velazquez, Peter Paul Ruben and many others had a great knowledge of human anatomy, and they used that knowledge to illustrate the body in different positions while depicting its perfection on the canvas.
In framed classical nude images, not just the regular people were illustrated, but also gods were painted, to show the beauty of their carnal body. People always wanted to relate to gods, so the gods were shown nude, without clothes and the people could feel as they are closer to them because of their similarities.
Some of the famous classical nude portraits include: “Creation of Adam”, where the perfection of the male body is illustrated, and “Birth of Venus” where the female body is presented as the ultimate creation of nature. In more technical images, “Vitruvian man” illustrates different body positions of a nude man.
The most common theme of a classical nude art is a painting of a nude woman resting. Nude woman lying down and posing was a common theme, as many beautiful women in the old times were used as models by great artists. If you want to feel the energy of relaxation and natural beauty that a nude body illustration can bring with itself, then getting a framed classical nude portrait art is a great decoration choice for your living space.
