Framed Surreal Artwork
Surrealism is an art style that was popular in early 1920s and there are many amazing images made in that style. The main point of the style is to try to find connection between dreams and reality and for the artist to represent the element of surprise.
The main characteristics of this style is that the artists painted illogical scenes with strange creatures made from different objects. Framed surreal art prints are a great home decoration for a person that loves amusing art styles with deep symbolism. Also, images of infinite stairs, like “Relativity” and “Waterfall” by Escher are a great representation of surrealism images. These infinite stairs are represented in a way that shows them like they have no end.
One of the famous surrealist painters is definitely Salvador Dali, with his famous works like “Persistence of Memory”, “Swans Reflecting Elephants” and “Disintegration of Persistence of Memory”. The often painting theme of Dali were different clocks and watches, because they symbolically illustrated the passage of time. Also, one of the famous surreal framed art image is the “Son of Man” by Rene Magritte that illustrates a man with a green apple in front of his face.
Different surrealist images cover different topics that are regarding dreams and reality, and these images are often very imaginative and symbolic in nature. Because of that, various framed surrealist art prints are often used in personal galleries so they can represent a thin line between the conscious and unconscious mind in the lives of many people.
