Framed Gifts for Teens Art
The teenage years are a unique time in a person’s life when many people are just starting to figure out their own aesthetic taste. Many framed gifts for teens have relatively simple themes. Sometimes these pieces are tied to athletic or creative pursuits. Other times cute or humorous imagery is used to lighten the mood.
Many teens are involved in sports or creative activities, and much of the framed artwork for teens reflects this. “Ball Four - Soccer” and “Ball Four - Baseball” shows the balls for the respective sports in a color-shifted style similar to the pop art of Andy Warhol. Jeremy Wright’s “Girls Rule” portrays a girl’s foot kicking a soccer ball. “Heart Beat” by M. J. Lew shows drum kits with different colored stripes in the background. “Green Skateboard” features a green skateboard in an otherwise black-and-white photo.
Animals are also popular subjects for framed wall art for teens. “Pierrot” by Will Rafuse shows a cartoon-style cat against a bright red background. The subject of “Firefighter Dalmatian” is a Dalmation wearing a fireman’s hat against a black and white background. Lucie Bilodeau’s “Blue Eye” features the blue eye of a white tiger.
Inspiration is also a common theme in art geared toward teens. This can take the form of simple slogans, as it does in Jo Moulton’s “Live Laugh Love.” Other works are more abstract, such as “Love Words” by Louise Carey, which includes a variety of words associated with love enclosed in a bright pink heart. “Einstein Eye Chart” arranges an inspirational quote from Albert Einstein in the form of an eye chart.
