Stuart Westmorland was a stock photographer who was based in Seattle. He’s is recognized as one of the leading lifestyle, nature, underwater, marine, concept, travel, and general stock photographers of his time in the United States of America. He was known for his original style and digital photography. His digital stock images have appeared in a variety of magazines, books, calendars, posters, brochures, aquarium and institutional displays. He also conducted many photography seminars at digital camera clubs, yearly film festivals, and nature groups. His digital images are sold through the world’s leading stock photo agencies in the including Corbis.com, Gettyimages.com, danitadelimont.com, Agefotostock.com, ImageSource.com, and ScienceFaction.com. He also conducted seminars on how artists can market themselves as stock photographers. Westmorland was residing near Seattle, Washington State. His specialty was underwater photography and many people, including his fellow photographers, regarded him as the embodiment of the athletic photographer. One colleague says he was a fixture of all his photographer parties over the years and he was so pleased to be able to present Westmorland with the Best in Show Award /Art Wolfe at the 2010 International Conservation Photography Awards. Westmorland won in life though he may have lost his short battle with leukemia. His art is still a source of inspiration to many upcoming photographers, and they are availed in a variety of finishing options and sizes, including framed Stuart Westmorland art. His art is also available in many online stores and with many collectors. He loved his work and could rarely be found without a camera in hand.
