Mike Schick loved art since he could hold a pencil. He used to produce very beautiful images at a young age. This talent was noticed by many and they persuaded him to pursue art as a career. He was very keen to detail and would not let anything pass by. Since that time he has always loved what he does and his artwork has been attracting many people from across the globe. Schick began painting after working for years in three-dimensional fields of art including home accessories designing and building and also sculpturing. As in those disciplines, he currently relies heavily on drawing and attention to surface texture and detail in his paintings. He is not afraid to try new things and still approaches each painting experimentally. He is amused and amazed by the variety of influences on the final result. After experimenting with many techniques and mediums he chooses the best technique and medium for any work he has at hand.
Schick has participated in many art exhibitions where his artworks have featured prominently. He has also attended many art exhibitions and shows to help improve his skills. His pieces of artwork are owned by galleries, private collectors and museums around the world. His pieces often incorporate elements from paintings that he admires. Many of his paintings are inspired by the memories of the places he has visited and also of his childhood. Framed Mike Schick art are highly priced by many private and corporate collectors.
