Framed Olivia Prints

Charmaine Olivia is a Francisco-based artist who started off as a yoga instructor. She was born and raised in a small beach town in Southern California. Charmaine fell in love with art and has been teaching herself how to paint and draw. She has been doing well and today she’s able to create amazing works of art that are fun, playful and full of poetic passion. The internet has helped her a lot as an artist to get her voice out there because she’s more of a shy person. She’s not pushy with her work. It’s not really her way to walk into a gallery and say “here’s my work.” She’s extremely passionate and curious about creativity, life and beautiful things. Sometimes her best work is done in 3 hours. The moment she starts a piece, she just goes for it, and the second she likes it, it’s done. However, she doesn’t spend too much time on a piece at times and then has to go back and just wipe it off and start over again. For her, it’s definitely psychological; finding when she needs to let it go, when it’s exciting, and when to start something new. Her paintings, photography and illustrations have appeared in museums, publications, galleries and private and corporate collections throughout the world. She paints beautiful women fused with otherworldly aspects which ensure that each one of her art is truly memorable and unique. Some of her clients and projects include Lady Gaga, Urban Outfitters, Hallmark, Element, Volcom Stone, Inked Girls Magazine and Nylon Magazine. Charmaine brushes realism with surrealism. Framed Charmaine Olivia art have found their way into many galleries around the world.
