Framed Anne Munson Wall Art

Anne Munson graduated in 1973 from the University of Oregon with BS in Art Education. From 1973 to 1976 he taught art at Junction City High School, and set up a photography laboratory and stained glass construction. Later she was contracted on a commission basis by many galleries to create 2D and 3D dimensional glass; including Crafts fair in Bellevue, Washington, and the Pacific NW Arts. Her painting process is three parts, all fun. First she carves stamps, cut up rubber combs and finally mixes paint. Then she makes her own papers. She says that her process is pretty much of finger painting for grownups. In 1984 she transitioned to colored pencil drawing, added many galleries and shows to her portfolio, and enjoyed the successful publication of her poster titled “Chocolate, Snuzzle and Peanutbutter.” Three years later she created the centennial poster for the Washington Park Zoo and did many other works. At age 64, Anne has come to the conclusion that a comfortable state for her must be confusion. Things really interest her, and she struggles to understand. Eventually she conquers with what a professor once said to her that if at some point in any painting the artist doesn’t don’t hate it then the artist hasn’t challenged himself/herself enough. Anne is member of Local 14 Arts and Crafts League. She participates in the annual show and has served as show director for three years. This has made her art to be very popular, especially the framed Anne Munson art.
