Dianne Miller was born and raised up in Braintree. This is also where she attended high school, Braintree High School. After completing his studies at the school, she went to Vesper George College of Art from where she received a diploma in Art. This is where she met Robert Cormier with whom she later studied intensively with. She feels comfortable doing landscapes and portraits as well as cityscapes and murals. She paints full time and accepts the challenges each subject brings with vitality and excitement. She’s good at translating her knowledge to her students in one of her academic classes which is very informative. In the more than thirty five years she has been painting, she has received many awards both locally and nationally, and is represented in hundreds of private collections as well as in many fine galleries. Recently, her oil painting was accepted in Naples Florida to the National Endowment show. . She studied art for ten years in college, ateliers and private classes and has she has painted nonstop for more than 30 years to develop her craft and style. Dianne studied the conventional way to paint, full time year round for 5 years. Robert Moore and David Lowery were included in the roster of her impressive teachers. She’s a signature member of the New England Plein Air Painters and is well known on the South Shore, and is also a member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America. Framed Dianne Miller art are known for their boldness and attractiveness.
