Howie Green is a renowned painter whose artistic works are characterized with bright combination of colors. He uses a variety of geometric shapes such as circles, squares, triangles, among others, in creating his artistic works. Green is a multitalented artist who’s also involved in creating murals and pop art as well as being actively involved in the implementation of diverse public art projects. He also built a name for his "Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland" book, which contains several illustrations that have made the book quite famous. With 40 awards to his name, including the Absoult Vodka art competition’s 25th Anniversary, Green’s works have been sought by some of the world’s most reputable companies such as Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, IBM, and CBS Television. In an effort to promote his art, he has participated in more than 40 different shows held in diverse global locations. One of his artwork pieces that have also earned him wide reputation is the “Green Madonna Smoking” portrait. Growing up, Green was focused on becoming a cartoonist, but that changed when he was 11 years old. What inspired him into painting was a pad he received as a Christmas present. After a short while, he began getting encouraging feedback from those who saw his works. And since then he hasn’t looked back. Green studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. His school experience became instrumental in defining his reputation as an artist and also allowed him to interact with different artists from a variety of backgrounds. Green’s artistic works are available in galleries, with framed Howie Green art being hot favorites for art lovers.
