Stephane Fontaine has appreciative eyes that find the maneuver and comedy in every subject and translates it into admirable works of art. He’s an artist based in Montreal but with clients from all over the world. Currently, his art are found in many collections around the world. He produces his art in a variety of finishing options to increase their collectability. Among the finishing options are the framed Stephane Fontaine art which are very popular with many collectors. His dedication and keenness in observing nature is reflected in the way he approaches his pieces of art. He’s a graduate of the Fine Arts program offered at Ontario College of Art & Design. He’s an expert at using the elements of art to produce compositions that are perfectly balanced. He primarily focuses on abstract and natural subjects, using mixed media techniques and a variety of materials, such as found objects, metal, wood, and paint. He’s much appreciated for his keenness to detail that makes his images look very real. His main artistic body of work is sculptural relief. This owes to his background in carpentry. The artist works on high quality materials and in the process he produces images that are highly textured and vivacious. The artist is inspired by the works of leading artists such as Anselm Kiefer and Patterson Ewen and also by natural elements. He’s brought to his art lifelikeness and obedience that is often hard to find in the works of other contemporary artist. He has a wide base of clients that he serves diligently.
