Roey Ebert never thought that she would become an artist. This is something that never crossed her mind because he grew up thinking that art could never be a career. In her family, doctor, lawyer, dentist, or teacher seemed like a good choice for a career and everyone in her family thought art wasn’t an option that anyone would really consider. Roey became a Language Arts teacher for a school in Allentown. Even though she loved teaching Language Arts, she loved art more than anything else. And after she had her first child, she decided to leave teaching and concentrate fully on art. She says that something about having a child made her a bit confident in her actions and she was sure the art world was where she belonged. She started by painting murals for a living. Roey began by her son’s wall was first….and then from that, her business grew. News about her art spread by word of mouth and it was a fulfilling experience for her…meeting people and seeing the joy that her art brought them kept her artistic fire burning. She loves what she does and has been able to meet so many fantastic people. She continued to paint murals for 15 years and life got a bit hectic after she had 6 kids so she decided to do painting works other than murals. She wants to keep doing what she does but delve deeper into what makes her really love art. Framed Roey Ebert art has become very common in art stores. Roey has realized that art is one of the most wonderful careers there is.
